Meet Holly
The provider I couldn't find — so I became her.
I'm Holly Langford, and ONYX is the practice I wished existed for the people I kept meeting: dismissed, exhausted, and never once given an explanation.
Why I built ONYX
For a long time, I watched the same thing happen over and over. Someone would come in knowing something was wrong. They'd get their labs drawn, hear that everything looked normal, leave with a prescription or a shrug, and walk out the door no closer to understanding their own body.
It bothered me every single time. Not because the people caring for them didn't care — but because the system gives you seven minutes and a diagnosis code, and there's no room in seven minutes to ask why. So the why never gets asked. The symptom gets a name, the name gets a pill, and the person gets sent home still wondering.
I didn't want to practice that way. I wanted the time to actually listen, the tools to look deeper, and the freedom to explain what I found in language a person could take home and repeat. So I built it. ONYX is small on purpose — one provider, real appointments, no insurance clock deciding when your story has to end.
My work isn't collecting more data. It's connecting the data you already have into one story that finally makes sense — and then walking through it with you until it does.
What that means in practice
Most providers collect data.
I connect it.
Symptoms are signals, not the problem. My job is to read the whole signal — and translate it — so you leave informed, whether or not you become a patient.
What I believe
The convictions the whole practice runs on.
These aren't slogans. They're the reasons I practice the way I do.
01
Symptoms are signals
The symptom is your body pointing somewhere. I start by asking why it's there, not just how to quiet it.
02
Education is treatment
You deserve to understand your own health. Clarity comes before intervention — always.
03
Test, don't guess
Normal isn't the same as optimal. I'd rather measure and know than assume and hope.
04
Honesty about limits
I'll tell you plainly what a therapy can't do, and who it isn't right for. That's a clinical conversation, not a sales one.
05
The whole person
Body, mind, and spirit are connected. I care for the person in front of me, not a lab value in isolation.
06
Time and attention
Real understanding takes more than seven minutes. My practice is built to give you the time it actually requires.
My promise to you
My promise isn't that I'll have every answer on day one. It's that you'll finally have someone willing to keep asking the right questions until your health story makes sense.
The credentials behind it
Credentials support the work. They were never meant to be the whole story.
If this sounds like the care you've been missing
Let's meet.
Start with a Discovery Assessment — one conversation to understand your story and decide, together, whether I'm the right fit. No obligation, no pressure, no plan sold to you in the room.
